Covid Truths and Falsehoods
Are people being fed with scare stories and falsehoods? There is a whole lot of different, if oposite, scientific views and data, on what this is all about.
One school contends that Covid-19 is a dangerous pandemic while another staunchly disagrees. The latter have put out data to prove their case. The former on the other hand relies on media help in blocking out such facts.
Governments all over the world have accepted, without question, the former view. And worse, proceeded to issue orders, such as lockdowns, which have thrown out millions out of jobs.
The amount of money being spent on vaccines is humngous. Is this rational and if so, what is the justification.
Several questions arise about the pandemic. Is Covid-19 a normal flu or a dangerous disease? Are there excess deaths due to it for the illness to be declared a pandemic?
Has the coronavirus been isolated? If not, how can a vaccine be made to prevent it? Why did we not succeed in making a vaccine for SARS-Cov of 2003?
Can RT-PCR tests be used for diagnosing diseases? What did the inventor of PCR, Kary Mullis say about this?
My RTI queries both to central and state governments have failed to elicit any rational, rhyme or reason for lockdowns or mandatory masks. The queries and the responses are in the HTML files being filed as part of my petition to the Karnataka High Court are available below.
I have filed a writ petition in the Karnataka High Court in which two CDs of scientific facts and data are submitted. I have sought the establishing of a commission of scientists to advise the government properly.
The contents of my CDs are available in the page titled, "Covid Truths".
You may decide for yourself where the truth lies. It affects your life as no other.

It is worth listening to this doctor. The use is that you will not be taken for a ride by vaccine peddlers.
Prof. Sucharit Bhakdi explains the hoax.
We have all been taken in by it.
The question, "Can the whole world be fooled?" is no argument for presuming that the hoax could be true - that the disease is dangerous, it is really a pandemic.
The Great Barrington Declaration authored by a scientists from Harvard, Stanford and Oxford, has been signed by over 35,000 doctors, 12,000 scientists and about 700,000 lay persons.

Corona Virus - Unwarranted Panic and Pandemonium
This is a letter that I sent to the PM and other leaders.
Date : Monday, 06 April 2020
From : Mathew Thomas
+91 9449020401
To: The PM and All Political Leaders, Scientists and Government Officials of India
Sirs,
I am a retired soldier, scientist and engineer. I am writing this letter to share some suggestions which would help combating the pandemic of Coronavirus and get our economy going again. These suggestions are from two Indians, both in the United States, both highly respected in their respective fields and successful.
The first is Dr. Shiv Ayyadurai and the second is Dr. Jay Bhattacharya. Dr. Ayyadurai has a PhD in Bio Engineering and four other degrees from MIT. He is a successful entrepreneur and the inventor of Email for which, he holds the copyright. Dr. Jay Bhattacharya is an MD and PhD, both from Stanford University and is currently Director, Center on the Demography and Economics of Health and Aging, Stanford University (2011 - Present), apart from other positions.
Dr. Ayyadurai has suggested that instead of lockdowns, governments should direct all effort towards rapid improvement in immune health. He has given a detailed protocol 3- step process for this, in a letter to the President of USA. Dr. Ayyadurai’s letter to President, USA. (Please right-click on the link, copy and paste it on your browser toolbar to access the letter.)
I earnestly request the government and all concerned leaders and citizens to study his process for combating Coronavirus and implement it. To implement the process in India, government would have to use, public authorities, like Registrar of Census, Revenue officials who issue ration cards, and invite corporate public and private and NGO sector participation. Dr. Jay Bhattacharya has questioned populations tested and suggested antibody tests to know the total number of people infected. According to him, PCR tests will only reveal number of people having the infection when tested.
The link to a video interview where he gave this advice is here. (Double click on the link, a dialogue box will open. Copy the URL of the link and paste it to your browser toolbar to access the video)
Try below link, if this does not work.
Yours truly,
Mathew Thomas

The PM called for a "voluntary" curfew.
What is a curfew?
The Meriam Webster dictionary says, "A curfew is a regulation enjoining the withdrawal of usually specified persons (such as juveniles or military personnel) from the streets or the closing of business establishments or places of assembly at a stated hour".
So, it is a regulation. Only governments can issue regulations. People cannot. The name is deceptive. Its "voluntariness" is like that of the Sham ID Aachaar, which this website has been campaigning against for a decade.
What purpose does it serve?
Is corona virus infectious only on Sundays? Is it not as effective on other week days?
Can't intiatives like, sanitizing public transport vehicles and trains be done?
Can't health checks for the most vulnerable of the people - the undernourshed, those who live without sanitation or even drinking water, be organized free of cost?
Can't mandatory health checks in factories. hotels and IT or other companies be done?
Can't government meat at least part of the cost?
Can't basic hygine in restaurants be improved?
What is the origin of curfew?
During the Middle Ages, houses in European towns were often made of wood and were close together, and fires could quickly spread from house to house. To prevent this, people were required to put out or cover their hearth fires by a certain time in the evening. A bell was rung as a signal when the time had come.
The janata curfew has put the cover on the hearths of millions of nation's people - not to prevent fires, but to stoke the fires of hunger of the poorest of poor millions who eke out a living by hard labor from dawn to dusk and return to their slums by evening or late night after a bite from the roadside eatery on the way home.
"And what is the purpose of this gimmikery?", one may ask, without ever getting answers.
If it is for show-casing a strong government and its leader acting with firmness and decisiveness, then it is a sad way of demosntrating such prowess. In fact, it reveals ignorance of how to combat the epidemic.
Just look what Canada and Singapore have done.
Instead, apart from providing for economic revival - a committee has been formed to decide on economic measures! Reminds one of the committee to combat famine. By the time the committee comes up with solutions the people for whose benefit it was set up would be dead and the committee could take credit for the solution.
Strangely, an unthinking bureaucracy and many in the population are carried away by such tomfoolery that they do not pause to examine any of the issues in the problem or the gimmick.
